Nestlé Lanka awarded for its excellence in quality management at the Sri Lanka National Quality Awards

Wins in the Manufacturing (Large) Category

Nestlé Lanka’s commitment towards quality as a non-negotiable priority was recognized at the Sri Lanka National Quality Awards 2020, organized by the Sri Lanka Standards Institution (SLSI). The ‘Good food, Good life’ company, which manufactures over 90% of its products sold in Sri Lanka at its state-of-the-art factory in Kurunegala, was adjudged winner in the Manufacturing (Large) Category.

Nestlé also extends their strict quality controls to stakeholders across its value chain, offering support and training on quality and food safety, and conducting regular audits to ensure their quality standards are adhered to.

The Sri Lanka National Quality Awards is held annually to recognize Sri Lankan Organizations that excel in quality management and quality achievement. This prestigious awards programme is organized and implemented by the Marketing and Promotion division of the Sri Lanka Standards Institution (SLSI). SLSI is the National Standards Body in Sri Lanka and a member of the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO).
