World renowned USA-based multinational company Honeywell International’s Chairman David M. Cote met Highways & Investment Promotion Deputy Minister Eran Wickremaratne for discussions recently.

US Secretary of State John Kerry’s recent visit to Sri Lanka had provided the background to these discussions.

Honeywell International is a huge multinational business conglomerate with annual earnings of around USD 40 billion engaged in producing a range of commercial and consumer goods.

This group has 127,000 employees world-wide with some 22,000 engineers and research staff among them.

This company which is among those listed under Fortune 100 entities is already in operation in India and China as well.
