Federation of Information Technology (Guarantee) Ltd (FITIS) will hold the 15^th ICT Industry Cricket Tournament on 29^th September 2024 at the Thurstan College sports grounds. Stated in 2003 this tournament was last held in 2019 and had to be called off due to COVID – 19 and the other challenges in the subsequent years.

ICT Industry Cricket Tournament was initiated by FITIS to encourage and promote the fellowship among  companies in the ICT Industry. Both members and non-members of FITIS have been participating in this tournament over the past years. This six-a-side softball cricket tournament provides an opportunity for the employees of ICT Companies to interact with each other in a festival environment. Both Men and Women teams can participate in the tournament.

FITIS offers cash prizes and trophies to the winners of the tournament. Traditionally, the tournament is organized by the ICT Infrastructure Chapter of FITIS under the guidance of Mr Shanaka Fernando and Mr Hasalaka De Silva, the President and the Vice President of the Chapter, respectively. Mr Indika De Zoysa, the Chairman  along with the Board of Directors of FITIS are encouraging the FITIS Members to engage in such activities to improve  the friendly relationships among the ICT companies.
