Senior state official T.G. Jayasinghe has been appointed Chairman of Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) while chairman of SMS Holdings Shehan Seneviratne has been appointed as chairman of Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminals Limited.

Mr. Jayasinghe is a former secretary of the Finance Commission of Sri Lanka and also the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission.

Shehan Senevirathne is currently the chairman of SMS Holdings Group who manufactures concrete products to construction industry in Sri Lanka.

He did his primary and secondary education at Richmond College Galle and finished the school career as an outstanding sportsman, representing college cricket and athletic teams.

He finished his professional education in Business Management and joined Hayley’s Group as a management trainee.
