Huawei has been named the only "Leader" among major global small cell vendors in the "Small Cells: Competitive Landscape Assessment" released by GlobalData, a globally recognized data analytics and consulting company.

GlobalData's report rates major small cell portfolios in the mobile industry by three categories—Outdoor, Residential, and Enterprise—and Huawei is among the top honorees in all of them. In particular, Huawei's LampSite solution, mainly used in enterprises, has been named "Leader" for seven consecutive years. This highlights Huawei's industry leadership in small cells and positions Huawei's portfolio as an industry benchmark.

According to the report, Huawei is far ahead of other vendors in multiple aspects, including product versatility, equipment integration, and system scalability.

• Huawei offers the most comprehensive products tailored for a wide range of use cases, such as LampSite, Easy Macro, and BookRRU.
• Huawei's equipment features the highest level of integration, maximizing ease of deployment. Both indoor and outdoor radios and BBU are smaller than all competing products.
• Huawei's products support up to five bands simultaneously – more than any other vendor – and support more 5G layers and end units than competing gear, offering high scalability.

The report notes that operators worldwide are targeting small cells to open up new market space in the 5G-A era. As more than 80% of mobile network traffic occurs indoors and mobile AI services surge, Huawei believes indoor network development is a key priority in supporting the growth of mobile AI. Looking ahead, Huawei will continue innovating in small cells to fully unlock network potential and contribute to a thriving mobile ecosystem.
