The Directors of KiddieCove Preschool and Daycare, Naduni and Esha Samarakoon grew up in a family where education was a tradition. Their grandmother, mother and aunts were all devoted to the field of education, carrying forward a legacy that continues today. Their father, a high-ranking officer in the Sri Lanka Army, instilled in them the values of discipline and strength, which the sisters have transformed into the foundation of KiddieCove’s story of success.

For Naduni, who studied and worked abroad with children, KiddieCove became a way to pour her global experience into local classrooms. She dreamed of a preschool that went beyond the usual, where kids could discover the world around them while learning the basics.

Esha, with her 19 years of corporate experience brought in structure, vision and an unshakable passion for empowering young minds. She has always had a big heart for children and a deep desire to be part of their world. I’ve always loved being part of a child’s world,” Esha says. “Creating a space where they can learn, play, and grow gives me so much joy.”

Together, they built KiddieCove.

What sets KiddieCove apart is its holistic, activity-based approach. Around 75% of learning is hands-on, encouraging children to ask questions, explore and develop curiosity, creativity, and confidence. Along the way, children also learn everyday values such as respect, acceptance of all religions and cultures guided by teachers who care for them like family.
