Bell  Independent Representative (IR) has officially presented a Pilot Safety Award Certificate to the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) Commander Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe in recognition of achieving 6,142 accident-free flying hours with Bell helicopters.

Air Force Commander, Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe, was highly commended for this outstanding achievement in aviation safety.

The event was attended by SLAF Chief of Staff, Air Vice Marshal Lasitha Sumanaweera, along with representatives of Bell Textron (Bell Helicopters) in Sri Lanka and the Maldives, Ceylon Aeronautical Services (CAS), including its President, Mr. Sampath Ranaweera, and Vice President, Air Vice Marshal (Retd.) Jayanath Kumarasiri.

This significant milestone underscores the SLAF’s continued dedication to aviation safety, professionalism, and operational excellence.
