The government has planned many programs to facilitate tourists aiming at the upcoming tourist season.
The Special Performance Force appointed by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake for the second meeting yesterday (14) for the second time at the President's Office to make strict decisions required for the promotion of the tourism industry.
Accordingly, special attention was given here on the matters relevant to making it easier for tourists to get visa and giving electronic travel permit (ETA).
Also, discussed about increasing counters to reduce traffic at the airport when tourists visit the country and facilitating those tickets online at places where tourists should get tickets when visiting different places.
The tourists and parties in the tourism sector were also focused on the issues faced.
