Vision Care, Sri Lanka’s largest vision, hearing, and eyewear solutions, provider, made a significant impact at the 14th edition of Medicare 2025, Sri Lanka's premier healthcare exhibition held at BMICH. The event attracted both local and international healthcare organizations, with over 150 stalls dedicated to the latest advancements in medical technology, wellness, and medical tourism.
Aligning with Glaucoma Awareness Month, themed ‘See the Future Clearly’, Vision Care focused on educating the public about early detection and prevention of glaucoma, a leading cause of irreversible blindness. By actively participating in Medicare 2025, Vision Care reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing eye health awareness and providing world-class vision solutions to the Sri Lankan public.
Throughout the three-day event, the Vision Care stall engaged with over 1,500 visitors, offering free eye screenings, including visual acuity tests, potential refractive error assessments, eye pressure tests, and fundus photography eye examinations. These were conducted by a team of highly qualified Vision Care professionals who also provided expert guidance on maintaining optimal eye and hearing health. Visitors diagnosed with eye conditions were advised on appropriate next steps for treatment and management.
Vision Care emphasized the importance of routine eye exams for the early detection of serious eye conditions, ensuring timely intervention. Additionally, an extensive range of corrective eyewear solutions, including prescription glasses and contact lenses, was available for those in need of customized vision support.
