Sri Lanka Central Bank’s past to be probed

A select committee would be appointed to investigate into the activities of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) during the last 10 years, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe told Parliament on 08 October.

While adding further, the Prime Minister said that the government is not satisfied with the performance of the CBSL and hence its activities during the last 10 years including the last six months would be investigated into.

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe said that the incumbent government is ready to make it the best bank.
