Adani Green Energy SL Ltd. has firmly denied recent claims that it has proposed a revision in pricing for its renewable energy agreement in Sri Lanka. The company stated that reports suggesting it had offered to reduce the tariff to 7 cents per kilowatt-hour are "entirely false and without foundation."

In a statement, the company reaffirmed its commitment to the original terms agreed upon with Sri Lankan authorities, emphasizing that its investment plans and project parameters remain unchanged.

Adani Green Energy SL Ltd. also clarified that while it has voluntarily withdrawn from the proposed wind project, the Adani Group remains open to future development opportunities in Sri Lanka should the government invite its participation.
