The Sri Lanka Customs says that it is prepared to release the vehicles under its charge for which Letters of Credit (LCs) had been opened before the budget.

The importers could get their vehicles released under the relevant conditions from morning on 13 January, Customs spokesman Leslie Gamini told the Ada Derana Biz.
