The proposed Indo-Lanka Economic & Technology Cooperation Agreement concentrates only on two service sectors, says Minister of Development Strategies and International Trade Malik Samarawickrama. These two sectors are shipbuilding and IT related services.
The Minister pointed out that the medical and legal sectors would in no way be included in this agreement.
Malik Samarawickrama added that discussions have been held with all parties concerned and that this agreement could be signed somewhere around June 2016.
