“The Sri Lankan industry is exploring opportunities for possible collaboration and import of products from Kerala.

“We have been to many business-to-business meets in India over the past few years. This is my first trip to Kerala. We have seen many SMEs in operation in Kerala, and are in talks with them to explore opportunities in coconut, rubber and ayurveda products,” said Sarath who runs a hospital and pharmaceuticals company near Colombo, adding that Kerala has a huge potential in the SME segment and that the B2B meet would provide a platform for small industries to rise to the global level.
