The pest management industry professional, Rajitha Cooke has been recognised with the prestigious Global CEO ‘45 Under 45 – Leadership Excellence Platinum Award 2025’ presented by the Global CEO Forum.

The awards ceremony, held on May 21at Hilton Colombo, celebrated exceptional young leaders, innovative entrepreneurs, and C-Level executives across the public and private sectors from any part of the world, who have displayed outstanding leadership and professional excellence, and have inspired meaningful change within their industries and communities.

Rajitha Cooke, who currently serves as the Director – Operations and Business Development at the family-owned enterprise, Suren Cooke Agencies Pvt Ltd (SCA), counts over 22 years of experience in the pest control industry. He leads the organisation’s purpose-led Green Operating System, integrating green products, processes, and promotions to significantly reduce chemical usage, and environmental impact during pest management.

A strong advocate for sustainable and non-toxic pest management solutions, Rajitha has been instrumental in driving the organisation towards technology-led and environmentally responsible practices.

Under Rajitha’s leadership, SCA has received several industry accolades for innovation and sustainability, including recognition at the FAOPMA Conference for excellence in Sustainability and Pest Management in the Asia and Oceania region. He is also passionate about mentoring and developing young talent within the industry
