Embilipitiya Stores Tool & Ceramic Manufacturing Private Limited, an affiliated company of the Eagle Group, has been awarded the internationally recognised ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification for its manufacturing and marketing operations, reinforcing its commitment to quality, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. The certification was awarded following a comprehensive audit conducted by SGS Lanka Private Limited, a subsidiary of the globally recognised inspection, testing, verification, and certification company SGS.

Established in the 1960s by the late Seeman Perera in Embilipitiya, the company has grown over the past six decades into a diversified manufacturing enterprise under the leadership of Managing Director Udayanath Perera. Today, the company is recognised as a leading local manufacturer and supplier serving Sri Lanka’s construction and building materials sector. Operating under its flagship “Eagle” brand, the company manufactures and distributes a wide range of products including wire nails, barbed wire, binding wire, J Hooks, L Hooks, U Hooks, welding rods, skim coat, tile mortar, dolomite fertiliser, and ceramic sanitaryware products such as bathroom sets, mugs, pooja items, and bobbins.

Under the ISO 9001:2015 certification scope, the company has been recognised for the design, development, manufacturing, and marketing of sanitaryware products, skim coat and tile mortar products, as well as wire-based construction products and oxygen welding rods.
