Pinsiri Fernando Re-elected as Chairman of Condominium Developers Association of Sri Lanka

The Condominium Developers Association of Sri Lanka (CDASL), the premier representative body of condominium developers in Sri Lanka, successfully held its 12th Annual General Meeting on 23 June 2026 at the Board Room of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce.

At the AGM, the membership reappointed Mr. Pinsiri Fernando of Suncity Property Developers (Pvt) Ltd as Chairman, Mr. Prasanna De Zoysa of SMI Housing Development (Pvt) Ltd was reappointed as Secretary, while Mr. Dhammika Wasanthakumara of Capital Developers Ltd was reappointed as Treasurer, reaffirming its confidence in leadership and commitment to advancing the condominium development industry in Sri Lanka.

The Executive Committee elected for the 2026/27 term comprises Mr. Aelian Gunawardena (JAT Property Group (Pvt) Ltd), Mr. Brahmanage Premalal (Prime Lands (Pvt) Ltd), Mr. Dasun Wickramarathna (Global Housing and Real Estate (Pvt) Ltd), Mr. Kishore Reddy (Quest and Query (Pvt) Ltd), Mr. Inoke Perera (Whittall Boustead (Pvt) Ltd), Mr. Nalin Herath (Home Lands Skyline (Pvt) Ltd), Mr. Roderick David (Overseas Realty (Ceylon) PLC), Mr. Sabeer Iqbal (Rush Housing (Pvt) Ltd), and Mr. Sanjeewa Peiris (Maga Engineering (Pvt) Ltd). The Committee will be supported by three Advisers, namely Mr. Kapila Gamage, former Chairman of the Condominium Management Authority (CMA), Mr. Pradeep Moraes of Praedium (Pvt) Ltd, and Mr. Sivarajah Thumilan of Blue Ocean Residencies (Pvt) Ltd.

During the AGM, members reviewed the Association’s key achievements and activities over the past year, particularly its efforts to address industry concerns and advocate for a more conducive policy environment. The Chairman expressed his appreciation to the Executive Committee members and advisors for their valuable contributions and dedicated service to the Association throughout the year. CDASL continues to serve as the collective voice of Sri Lanka’s condominium development sector, representing the interests of its members and engaging with government authorities, regulatory institutions, and other stakeholders to promote sustainable industry growth and best practices.
