Pan Asia Banking Corporation PLC Chairman Nimal Perera has resigned as Chairman and Director with effect from 31 August 2016.

Under the terms of the Banking Act of 2007, an individual could hold office as chairman or director in any private bank in Sri Lanka only to a maximum of nine years. Thus, Nimal Perera relinquishes his posts after completing his term.

Pan Asia Banking Corporation’s Deputy Chairman, R. Eshana Uvindra de Silva fills the vacancy of Chairman with effect from 01 September 2016.

G.A. Rasika Dimuth Prasanna takes over as Deputy Chairman with effect from 01 September 2016.
