The revenue generated from Nation Building Tax (NBT) has significantly increased by 2.9% to Rs. 25.4 billion in the first four months of 2019, compared to Rs. 24.7 billion in the same period of 2018, a finance ministry report said.

The revenue collected from NBT on domestic activities increased by 2.5% to Rs. 19 billion reflecting improvements in sectors such as retail trade and distribution, rent, construction, manufacturing products, hotels and restaurants and catering services.
