Chemanex PLC has sold its stake in the insurance broking arm to Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC.

In a stock exchange filling Chemanex PLC said it has transferred 239,999 shares of Commercial Insurance Brokers Ltd to Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC for a total price of Rs.250 million resulting in a profit of Rs.249.8 million in company financials and Rs.157 million in group financials.
