The government has appointed Hemasiri Fernando as Non Executive, Non Independent Chairman of People’s Leasing & Finance PLC.

Four others have also been appointed to the Board of Directors.

Michael Pradeep Amirthanayagam has been appointed Non Executive, Non Independent Deputy Chairman while Jehan Prasanna Amaratunga has been appointed Non Executive, Non Independent Director.

Johnson Anthony Fernando and Mohomed Anees Mohomed Rizwan have been appointed Non Executive, Independent Directors.
