Abans powers its way to No.1 Business Partner award at ‘Dell Power Awards’ 2014

Abans Limited walked away with the Platinum Award for Best Performing Business Partner for Consumer Business in Sri Lanka at the first ever Dell Power Awards 2014 held at the Waters Edge recently. Abans received a total of six Dell Power Awards for its unparalleled performance as an integral partner in Dell Sri Lanka’s consumer business category.

The Dell Power Awards was organized by Dell Sri Lanka with the objective of recognizing the efforts of Dell’s top partners that enabled the brand to occupy a top position in the country.

Cementing a successful partnership, Abans was recognized as the Best Distributor and the Best Large Format Retailer in the consumer segment. This partnership is recognized for its operations through the synergies of a T2 Partner.

Mr. Chathura Jayawardana, Senior Brand Manager, Abans Ltd. received an individual honour when he won the Manager’s Recognition Award for Outstanding Performance. As a young and dynamic individual, he is the driving force behind the Abans consumer business showing tremendous commitment to facilitate retail sales for its IT business space.

Mr. Tilan Thennakoon Trainee Brand Manager won an individual award for Sales Excellence for his demonstration and dedication towards driving business for Dell in the retail channel.

Mr. Konara Rajarathne of Abans Badulla Branch was acknowledged as the Best Large Format Retailer - Branch Manager. He won this recognition because of his key innovative marketing initiatives to bag the most number of consumer products sold in the year 2013 through a single outlet in Badulla.
