The Culinary Art & Food Expo 2025, organised by the Chef's Guild of Sri Lanka and the World Association of Chefs Societies, was held from June 13 to 15, 2025, at the BMICH, Colombo.
This prestigious event, which has been taking place over the past two decades, provides a platform for thousands of chefs to showcase their talents and gain well-deserved recognition. It has consistently been the highlight of their culinary calendar and a source of inspiration for aspiring chefs throughout the country. For many, it represents the first step towards a fulfilling and successful career in the culinary arts.
The 2025 exhibition offered a unique opportunity for young chefs to celebrate and engage with every facet of the culinary world with the endorsement and guidance of the WACS (World Association of Chefs’ Societies,) and for participate to gain exposure to global standards, beat practices, and innovative trends.
Bairaha Farms PLC Executive Director Mr. Riyal Yakoob said; “these occasions have shown us that, as much as the cook is important, the resources that you use are equally as important, to guarantee making and delectable dishes. We saw highly skilled and competitive chefs work their way to create new and unique dishes, due to their passionate interest in cooking.
Bairaha Farms PLC’s Brand Manager Mr. Ravin Madushanka was elated about the impact and influence Bairaha has had through participation at these expos. “We are grateful to all participants and hosts who enabled us to take part successfully in these events,” he added.
