Cargills Bank and Mastercard recently concluded the jointly organized ‘Excellence Awards – Cards 2019’ together with a knowledge sharing forum at Hilton – Colombo. The event was held under the patronage of Rajendra Theagarajah, CEO/MD of Cargills Bank Limited and Santosh Kumar, Country Manager for Mastercard Sri Lanka to recognize and reward individuals and teams for outstanding performances in Card Sales for 2019.

The event saw 27 prestigious awards given out under Branches and Central Sales. Top achievers of the central sales team and branches for each quarter were awarded with prizes, while Sales Team Leaders and Regional Managers were also recognized for continuously motivating their teams.

Speaking at the event, the MD/CEO of Cargills Bank Rajendra Theagarajah said, “As an organization that believes in a sales culture from top to bottom, we always create an environment that rewards staff for their excellence, so that they are motivated and committed to continuously raise the bar.” 

Mr. Santosh Kumar, Country Manager for Mastercard Sri Lanka said “Cargills Bank was one of the fastest growing card issuers for Mastercard and their sales staff has performed admirably to achieve these results. Their energy and support have been exceptional and we are glad to support such a vibrant team.”
