CCC, SLAASMB holds webinar on Current Challenges in Applying Accounting Standards & General Findings of Accounting Auditing Regulator

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce together with the Sri Lanka Accounting and Auditing Standards Monitoring Board (SLAASMB), in a bid to support Exporters, SME’s, Entrepreneurs and Manufacturers in financial reporting and enhancing audit quality and identifying violations of accounting and auditing standards will be conducting a Webinar under the theme, General Findings of Accounting and Auditing Regulator.

During the recent past, financial reporting standards have evolved rapidly. Financial reporting standards are now principle based and require exercising judgement to a greater extent. SLAASMB is the financial reporting and audit regulator who monitors compliance with accounting standards in financial reporting and compliance with auditing standards in auditing which enhances reliability in the financial reporting in the country. Join us in a discussion that aims to enable entities to enhance reliability of their financial reporting, auditors to enhance audit quality.

The eminent panel will include Ms. Monita Bandara – Director Technical, SLAASMB, Ms. Lakmalie Hewage - Director Technical, SLAASMB, Mr. Rajith Perera  - Partner, Ernst & Young, Ms. Hiranthi Fonseka  -  Partner, Ernst & Young. The session will be moderated by Mr. Suren Rajakarier – Partner, Head of Audit KPMG.
