The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) created history again by recording the highest number of trades in a day. A total of 51,862 trades were executed today (13), surpassing the previous record of 49,921 trades on August 18, 2011.

Expolanka was the highest contributor to the number of trades today with 5,182 trades, followed by Browns Investments with 4,964 trades, Piramal Glass Ceylon with 2,397 trades and ACL Cables with 1,885 trades.
