In view of the extension of the curfew by the Government, the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) has decided that the CSE will remain closed for Trading on Monday, 30th March 2020.

Accordingly, 30th March 2020 will be considered as a market holiday.

The government decided to extend the ongoing curfew in Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara, Puttalam, Kandy and Jaffna district until further notice as a means to minimize public gatherings in order to contain the spread of the deadly coronavirus within the country.The curfew in all other areas will be temporarily lifted tomorrow morning (30) and will be re-imposed at 2 pm on the same day.
