Did Templeton Trust buy Hemas shares sold by EPF?

The crossing of 33.5 million shares of Hemas Holdings Limited at Rs. 45 each this morning (2June) has been sold by the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) and another party, it has been revealed.

There is a rumor that this transaction has been done by a foreign based trust fund by name of Templeton Trust.

The EPF owned 27.2 million or 5.29 percent shares of Hemas Holdings PLC and 6.6 million or 1.29 percent shares of Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation.
