DMS Software Technologies (Pvt) Ltd successfully hosted "FinOps Unlocked: Cloud Clarity Delivered with IBM Cloudability" on June 10, 2026, at the Celestine Ballroom, Cinnamon Life, Colombo, attracting a full house of technology leaders and IT decision-makers, from leading organizations across Sri Lanka.

The event focused on helping organizations navigate the evolving landscape of cloud financial management and optimize cloud investments through FinOps best practices.

The opening session, "From Cloud Spend to Business Value: The FinOps Journey," was delivered by Vijay Balan, Partner Sales, ISA & SEA at IBM Corporation, who highlighted the growing importance of FinOps in enabling organizations to align cloud spending with strategic business objectives.

The keynote presentation, "From Visibility to Control – Managing Cloud Spend at Scale," was delivered by Madhur Kaushik, Partner Technical Specialist (Asia Region) at IBM Apptio, which explored how organizations can gain deeper visibility into cloud costs, improve accountability, and establish effective governance frameworks through IBM Cloudability.

A key highlight of the event was the announcement by Lasantha Bogoda, Director/CEO of DMS Software Technologies (Pvt) Ltd, on the launch of the DMS IBM Cloudability Managed Service Provider (MSP) Program in Sri Lanka.  Mr. Bogoda stated, “Cloud adoption has transformed the way businesses innovate and scale.
