Mr. Adheesha Salpitikorala, Chief Executive Officer of eArrow and an Executive Committee Member of the Sri Lanka–China Business Council (SLCHBC), recently had the distinguished opportunity to participate in a 14-day international training program on “Innovative Development of New Forms of Foreign Trade for Chambers of Commerce and Industry of BRI Partner Countries.”
The program, hosted by the Government of the People’s Republic of China, was held in two phases—seven days of intensive seminars in Beijing, followed by seven days of immersive regional learning experiences in Guang’an City (Sichuan Province) and Rizhao City (Shandong Province).
The initiative was part of China’s ongoing commitment to promoting economic cooperation and knowledge exchange among Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) partner countries. Participants were given insights into China’s evolving foreign trade mechanisms, digital transformation strategies, and public-private collaboration models in the global trade arena.
In addition to the professional and academic enrichment, Mr. Salpitikorala was also able to experience China’s vibrant culture, dynamic cities, and warm hospitality. He remarked on the extraordinary pace of development in China, noting that “the level of vision, dedication, and execution places China decades ahead in many aspects of global innovation and infrastructure.”
eArrow extends its heartfelt gratitude to His Excellency the Ambassador of China to Sri Lanka, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Sri Lanka, as well as the President and Executive Committee of the Sri Lanka–China Business Council, which operates under the aegis of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, for facilitating this invaluable opportunity.
