Another EVERGEEN mega container ship was troubled, EVER GIVEN sister ship EVER GENTLE, at Taipei Port, Taiwan, at around midday Mar 27, during cargo operations.

Gantry crane struck ship’s funnel, severely damaging it. Crane and funnel were parted in some two hours, EVER GENTLE left Taipei shortly after mishap, bound for Yantian, China.
