One year ago, GovPay was launched to change how citizens interact with government services.

Today, it is a key part of Sri Lanka’s digital governance journey, making public service delivery faster, more transparent, and centered around citizens.

With over Rs. 2.7 billion in digital transactions, 252 government agencies onboarded, and thousands of services now available online, GovPay keeps building trust, inclusion, and efficiency in the public sector.

This milestone shows the strong commitment of the Ministry of Digital Economy, ICTA, LankaPay, partner institutions, and citizens working together to create a digitally empowered Sri Lanka.
