Once Sri Lanka’s famous stock counter in post war Stock Market of the country, GREG – the presently known Lanka Century Investments PLC which underwent a name change in November 2013, again after less than 5 years had changed its’ name to Ambeon Holdings PLC, a filing to the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) by the company added.

Accordingly the disclosure added that the company received the certificate of incorporation pursuant to the section 8 (3) (b) from the Registrar General of Companies certifying the name change, and effect from 11th June the 2018 company is now known as Ambeon Holdings PLC.

Earlier known as Walker & Greig Company owned by Browns Group prior to 2009, according to market analysts, GREG or the Ambeon Holdings is a perfect case study how the company could be retiled under several names whilst the owners can change the ownership hand in hand in less than 10 years. Analysts further point out that over a dozen similar companies could be found among listed companies in the Colombo Stock Exchange.
