The Sinha Wasantha Udanaya 2023 Bakmah Festival organized by award-winning organization, Guruge Elderly Care Pvt. Ltd, with the contribution of Bokundara Jaliyagoda Lions Club, was held on April 23 at Panadura Pinwatta branch of Guruge Institute.

About 200 people, including elders and employees, representing five branches of Guru's Institute and Pinwatta Aloka Elderly Home participated in this. Aloka Elderly Home managed by Mr. Piyal Guruge and Guruge Elderly Care Branch Network managed by Mr. Samitha Guruge constantly carry out such activities for the mental health of the elderly as part of the huge social mission of taking care of the elderly.

All competitions were organized for the entertainment and skill reflection of adults and music was provided throughout the day by the band of Sparrows led by Neil. A New Year dinner table and lunch was also prepared for all who participated. Valuable gifts were distributed among the elders and all the parents ended the day with a triumphant smile on their faces.
