HNB PLC has partnered with Browns and Company PLC to introduce an exclusive leasing scheme designed to make modern agricultural machinery more accessible to farmers and agribusinesses across Sri Lanka.
The partnership will support customers purchasing TAFE tractors, Yanmar and Sumo combine harvesters, and Sumo automated rice milling machinery. Browns Agriculture is recognised for its longstanding presence in Sri Lanka’s agricultural mechanisation sector, with TAFE, Yanmar and Browns Sumo among its established agricultural brands.
Under the scheme, HNB will provide special leasing rates, a credit card with the first year annual fee waived and discounted vehicle insurance premiums through HNB General Insurance.
Customers purchasing TAFE tractors will receive a two year or 2,000-hour warranty, four labour free services and free Department of Motor Vehicles registration. Browns will also cover the first year insurance premium for selected TAFE 45DI, TAFE 7250 and TAFE 2WD models.
For Yanmar and Sumo harvesters, customers will receive special warranty benefits and three labour free services. Customers purchasing Sumo automated rice milling machinery will receive a one-year warranty covering manufacturing defects, together with one labour free service following installation and commissioning.
