An International Monetary Fund (IMF) country team is set to arrive in Sri Lanka for a staff visit scheduled from June 24 to 30. The mission, announced by IMF Mission Chief Evan Papageorgiou, aims to evaluate the nation's ongoing economic recovery efforts.
During the week-long visit, the IMF delegation plans to engage with government authorities and a diverse group of stakeholders. The primary objectives of the mission are to take stock of recent economic developments and conduct a formal discussion regarding the performance of Sri Lanka’s economic reform program.
