Indian business leaders in town to take part in the Chamber led Business Forum

A Group of Indian business leaders led by the Confederation of Indian Industry is currently in Sri Lanka to attend the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce organized Business Forum, which the Indian Prime Minister Honorable Mr. Narendra Modi is expected to address.

The Business Forum will be held on the 13th March, 2015, starting at 5.00 pm in Colombo.

The Indian business leaders who are already in the country had a meeting at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce on Thursday evening and is also expected to have one on one meetings with the local business leaders.

They met with Mr. Mangala P. B. Yapa, CEO / Secretary General of the Chamber, while Mrs. Gayathri Gunaruwan, Chief Economist of the Chamber was also present.

The Indian business delegation will explore opportunities in the areas of infrastructure, water supply, property development, sugar, irrigation and renewable energy among many others.
