Laugfs Gas to set up LPG storage terminal at Hambantota port

Laugfs Gas PLC has set up a wholly owned subsidiary, Laugfs Terminal Limited and has entered into a business venture and lease agreement with the Sri Lanka Ports Authority to lease a four hectare extent of land within the Magam Ruhunupura Mahinda Rajapaksa Port in Hambantota to set up a Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) storage terminal project.

Laugfs Gas PLC is a public quoted company listed in the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) with W.K.H. Wegapitiya as Chairman and U.K. Thilak De Silva as Managing Director.

The company is involved in the LPG distribution, emission testing, hospitality and property development sectors.

It is focusing on resetting regional filling and warehousing facilities in order to facilitate cost effective distribution in the regional network.
