In line with the Company’s core focus on supporting local businesses, LAUGFS Lubricants partnered Lanka Sugar Company (LSCPL) to provide Lubrication Solutions to LSCPL’s vehicle fleet. Signifying the highest profit in history, LSCPL has made many improvements within their premises, where one significant investment is the establishment of their own vehicle service station powered by LAUGFS Lubricants. The two companies symbolized the partnership at a formal ceremony held at LSCPL recently.

A host of dignitaries graced the occasion, including; Ministers, Hon. (Dr.) Ramesh Pathirana, Minister of Plantation Industries, Hon. Janaka Wakkumbura, State Minister of Development of Minor Crops and Export promotion, Hon. Jagath Pushpakumara, Member of Parliament, Mr. Janaka Nimalachandra Chairman of LSCPL, Mr. Gamini Rasaputhra, Director/Chief Executive Officer of LSCPL, Major Vajira Kumarathunge (Rtd), Chief Operations Officer of Pelwatte Unit (LSCPL), Mr. Niroshan J. Pieries, Director/Chief Executive Officer of LAUGFS Lubricants Limited & LAUGFS Petroleum (Pvt) Limited and Mr. Tharaka Mudalige, General Manager – Operations of LAUGFS Lubricants Limited.

LSCPL is a fully government owned company under the Treasury of Sri Lanka, managed by the Ministry of Plantation and its State Ministry of Development of Minor Crops including Sugarcane, Maize, Cashew, Pepper, Cinnamon, Cloves, Betel Related Industries and Export Promotion.
