A joint letter of intent was signed between the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka and Rojana Industrial park Public Company Limited from Thailand, at the auditorium of the BOI today (21).

The Joint Letter of Intent was signed on behalf of the BOI by Mr. Dumindra ratnayaka, Chairman and Mr. Direk Vinichbutr, President on behalf of Rojana Industrial park Public Company Limited.

The Joint Letter of Intent will lead to the signing of an agreement whereby Rojana Industrial park Public Company Limited will build, manage and promote the zone for enterprises to set up investments.

Subsequent to discussion, in March 2017 an advance team from Thailand including engineers and experts were shown the prospective site at Millaniya by BOI officials.
