NDTV’s Coverage of Colombo Fashion Week as part of Celebrate Colombo wins Indian Television Academy Award

NDTV’s coverage of Colombo Fashion Week as part of showcasing fashion during the creative festival, Celebrate Colombo by So Sri Lanka has won at the prestigious Indian Television Academy Awards, making it a milestone win for NDTV.

NDTV covered the Celebrate Colombo creative festival in a 30-minute prime time special to showcase the vibrant arts, fashion, tourism and culture of Sri Lanka, an in particular the hospitality and resilience of Sri Lankans to come together and organize a creative festival of this magnitude.

NDTV Anchor, the inimitable Ms. Ambika Anand, won the Indian Television Academy Award for Best Fashion & Lifestyle Show for her coverage of CFW’s Celebrate Colombo by So Sri Lanka creative festival. Celebrate Colombo brought together Sri Lanka’s creative industries in Art, Fashion, Food and Music/Film to showcase Sri Lanka as a vibrant and lively city and attract tourists back to the island post the unfortunate events in April 2019.
