In view of the extension of the curfew by the Government, the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) has decided that the CSE will remain closed for Trading on Tuesday, 31st March 2020.

Accordingly, 31st March 2020 will be considered as a market holiday.

A decision on when the CSE will be reopened will be taken at a later date.

After 13^th March 2020, The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) was reopen for trading on 20 March 2020 with revised trading hours. However,  as the market opened;  the  trading was halted for 30 minutes after Standard and Poor’s Sri Lanka 20 Index of liquid stocks plunged 5%.
