Prominent businessman Ravi Wijeratne is the Sri Lankan partner in Australian multi-million dollar businessman James Douglas Packer’s super luxury hotel and mixed development project with an investment of USD 350 million.

With the relevant Gazette notifications passed by parliament yesterday, Ravi Wijeratne who spoke to AdaderanaBiz while being overseas he would consider the future steps regarding this project as soon as he returns to the island.

This 400 room super luxury hotel including a shopping complex, luxury apartments, conference halls etc is to be constructed at the existing vehicle park opposite Lake House along D.R. Wijewardene Mawatha in Colombo Fort.

The joint venture set up by James Packer and Ravi Wijeratne has been named Lake Leisure Holdings (Pvt) Limited.
