Seylan Bank PLC has appointed Kapila Prasanna Ariyaratne as an Executive Director with effect from 16 February 2015.

Kapila Ariyaratne has been the General Manager/Chief Executive Officer of Seylan Bank since March 2011.

He has over 30 years of banking experience after having worked for several local as well as international banks. He is a First Class Honours degree graduate of the University of Colombo and is also a holder of a Diploma in Business and Financial Administration.

Kapila Prasanna Ariyaratne is also Chairman of Seylan Bank’s subsidiary Seylan Development PLC and a Director of LankaClear (Pvt) Ltd and Lanka Financial Services Bureau Ltd and a member of the Governing Board of the Sri Lanka Institute of Bankers.
