P.G Kumarasinghe Sirisena who served as the chairman/ non-Executive Director of E-Channelling PLC has tendered his resignation with effect from 22nd January 2020.

In a stock exchange filing today (28) the company said that the registration of Mr. P.G.K.Sirisena was informed to them on the 23'd of January 2020 and on receipt of same a Resolution was circulated among the Directors. On receipt of the signed resolution on 27th January 2020, the announcement is being made to the Colombo Stock Exchange.

The largest shareholder of E-Channelling PLC is Mobitel (Pvt) Ltd with a 87.59% stake.  Mobitel is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sri Lanka Telecom.

P.G Kumarasinghe Sirisena who served as the chairman of the Sri Lanka Telecom PLC (SLT) board tendered his resignation with effect from 6^th January 2020 and Rohan Fernando was appointed as the new Chairman SLT.
