The National Lotteries Board (NLB) is reportedly preparing to enter the mobile phone and internet market by introducing SMS (short message service) and web lottery to the local market.

The NLB recorded it highest annual earnings last year with Rs. 15 billion.

Though the NLB’s earnings had increased last year by 22 percent it profits have decreased due to operational costs rising by 25 percent.
