SriLankan Airlines: First international flight to touch down in Melbourne in five months

Victoria's hotel quarantine program has restarted, with Melbourne Airport welcoming its first international flights in more than five months.

According to international media, Sri Lanka Airlines flight  UL604 from Colombo has touched down at Tullamarine on Monday morning with the first international passengers to be housed in the state’s revamped hotel quarantine program.

Victoria achieved 38 days in a row without a new COVID-19 case. The state is welcoming international arrivals for the first time since July 10. Flight UL604 from Colombo was the first of eight international passenger flights carrying a total of 253 passengers to arrive on Monday.
