SriLankan Airlines has officially confirmed the appointment of Dimal Arandara as the Chairman of its Board of Directors. The move, which takes effect immediately, confirms Arandara’s leadership of the national carrier following a period of transition.

Arandara previously served as the airline's Acting Chairman, stepping into the role after the resignation of the former Chairman, Sarath Ganegoda. According to internal communications from the airline, this permanent appointment was made with the formal concurrence of the President of Sri Lanka.
