Sunshine Healthcare selects Microsoft Azure-enabled IFS Applications™ ERP Solution

Sunshine Healthcare replaced its legacy systems with IFS Applications™, an integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution by IFS, after an annual audit. The IFS Applications ERP solution, which runs on the cloud computing platform Microsoft Azure, integrated the company’s Sales Force Automation System (SFA) & CRM with the central warehousing unit. As a result, the healthcare provider has been able to eliminate capital expenses, improve business continuity and increase reliability.

 

The cloud-based offer from Microsoft for IFS Applications has enabled Sunshine Healthcare to increase the breadth of their deployment as well as scale the number of employees and customers in line with business growth. Microsoft Azure is a proven cloud environment that delivers encrypted data protection as well as business continuity features that a typical on-premise installation would not include.

 

With a rise in companies migrating to the cloud, Microsoft Azure offered both Sunshine Healthcare and IFS Applications a level of reliability that would be very expensive to achieve and yet eliminating the requirement to maintain physical servers on-premises. Equally, the ability to utilize Azure’s global network of data centres in order to integrate existing IT assets, reduce complexity and risk, enticed IFS and the healthcare provider to embrace the cloud platform while providing them the capability to scale.

The entire IFS Applications suite—including all enterprise resource planning (ERP), enterprise asset management (EAM) and enterprise service management (ESM) modules—work on Azure. A growing number of businesses are choosing IFS Managed Cloud on Microsoft Azure, which is a full-service, managed single-tenant offering where IFS manages the cloud infrastructure, operating system, database, middleware and IFS products.
