The Chamber Academy, the knowledge arm of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce has joined hands with Hutchison Telecommunications Lanka (Pvt) Ltd and London Stock Exchange Group – Sri Lanka to host a timely webinar on the amendments that were introduced to the Inland Revenue Act.

The virtual discussion will be beneficial for corporates and individuals to gain better insights on incorporating new exemptions, reduced rates and other reliefs for tax payers.

A presentation will be carried out by Mr. Nihal Wijewardane, Deputy Commissioner, Inland Revenue Department and will be followed by a panel discussion including Ms. Ms. Shamila Jayasekara - Partner/ Head of Tax, KPMG, Mr. Amal Badugoda Hewa – Director Tax, Carson Group of Companies and Ms. Dilani Katipearachchi - Vice President, Aitken Spence. The session will be moderated by Mr. Duminda Hulangamuwa - Deputy Vice Chairman, Ceylon Chamber of Commerce.

The discussion will be followed by an interactive Question and Answer session.
